Wild Wadi Water Park is considered to be among the top ten Dubai attractions. It is ideally located in Jumeirah, very close to the Burj Al Arab. Their main attraction is Jumeirah Sceirah, the tallest and fastest free-fall water slide outside the United States. It rises to 33 m (110 ft) with riders getting speeds to 80 km/h (50 mph).

The highest slides in the park are Twister and Cyclone, which are both 83 feet (25 m) high.

Located in Porto das Dunas, 16 km from Fortaleza, Brazil, Beach Park originated in 1985 out of a trendy beachfront restaurant. In 1989, it opened its water park, the first in Latin America, with three water slides. The Insano is the highest water slide in the world at 41 meters high, a record listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Its height is equivalent to that of a 14-storey building. As a consequence of its height and slope, this water slide provides an extremely rapid descent - taking between four and five seconds - at a speed of 105 km/h. Because of these characteristics, the Insano is considered the most extreme of this type of equipment on the planet.

The slide finishes in a clear tunnel in the shark lagoon. The Aquaventure area of Atlantis the Palm covers 42 acres (17 hectares), and has a 700-metre beach.

This slide comes in at an incredible 262 feet in length and is on the top of a mountain with a commanding view of western Kyushu's coastal plain.

Slide Staircase (England)



This creative slide next to the staircase was designed by London architect Alex Michaelis at the request of his children. Not only it adds originality but a lot of fun to their new eco-friendly dream home. In the picture, one of the children throwing caution to the wind and diving head first down the slide. According to Michaelis even grown-ups can't resist skipping the stairs. "We've been known after a big dinner party to use the slide”, he said. It all began during World War II when gunmakers in the town of Danao supplied guerrillas with weapons against the Japanese. Now 10,000 of Danao’s 100,000 residents are involved in the industry. Replicas of M-16, AK-47, Uzi and Ingram sub-machine guns are the most popular firearms. The weapons are later sold to local customers,politicians, military personnel and ordinary civilians. For example, a revolver maybe sold for $ 80 which is already equivalent to a few weeks’ wages. They are also very popular among Japanese Yakuza and Chinese mafia.

Creative Animal Face Painting By James Kuhn

46-year-old James Kuhn uses his face as canvas, to create some of the most eccentric face-paintings you’ve ever seen.

Kuhn says he has always been an artist, drawing in his oatmeal, as a child, but found his passion for face-painting, one day when he was snowed in, and couldn’t get to work. He is famous for taking on a project that implied drawing a different thing on his face, every day, for an entire year.

His “self-portraits” include different animals, foods, cartoon characters and pretty much anything you can think of. Kuhn himself admits he is addicted to face painting, always thinking about what his next design will be.

Guinness World Records For World's Shortest Men

In this corner, measuring in at 27 inches tall, Edward Nino Hernandez -- newly declared "world's shortest man" by Guinness World Records.

And in this corner, coming in at 22 inches tall, we have the challenger: Khagendra Thapa Magar.

It's not much of a challenge -- once he turns 18 next month and the measurements are official, Khagendra is certain to knock his little rival from his high perch and take the title of "world's smallest man."

The 10-pound Nepali dynamo visited New York City to promote the Ripley's newest book of oddities, "Enter If You Dare."

As I wrote at AOL News, Magar eats just 3.5 ounces of food each day, which is roughly equivalent to two chocolate bars. He weighs as much as a cat, and is only a little taller than a newborn -- if a newborn could stand.

Doctors haven't figured out why this karate-loving dance machine is so small, but it's believed to be a pituitary gland disorder.

Unbeliveable 44 Pounds Chinese Baby Boy

Meet Lei Lei, a 44-pound, 10-year-old Chinese baby boy who’s been dubbed the ‘Michelin baby’ because he resembles the mascot for tire-producer Michelin.
Lei Lei wasn’t always a huge baby. In fact, he weighed only slightly less than 7 pounds at birth. However, his ferocious appetite for his Mother’s breast milk quickly led to a massive weight gain.

All was well until his Mother, Xiao Lei, took him to a local hospital to seek treatment for a fever. Doctors were immediately concerned upon citing the over-sized boy—so much so that they forwarded the story over to Redney, a local Chinese news agency.

Less than an hour later, Lei Lei went from just being a chubby little boy into a world sensation described as having cheeks like “two plumps of meat” and arms and legs like “stacked hula hoops of fate,” reports AFP.

In the meantime, he’s under watch at the Hunan Children’s Hospital, where he’s being tested in the hope of revealing further “hints about his abnormal size and weight,” reported Oddity Central.

Unfortunately, his Mother isn’t really taking the situation seriously. “Why would I need to worry?” she questioned Fox News reporters.

“I’ve never had him take any milk powder or anything that contains hormones.”

I commend her for feeding him good ol’ quality breast-milk (like the type P Diddy adores), but I must point out that too much breast milk is never a good thing!

12 Unbelievable Traffic Jams In The Cities

The world's longest traffic jam was 110 miles (176 kilometers) long, between Paris and Lyon on the French Autoroute in 1980.



A 60-mile-long traffic jam on a major Beijing highway has lasted more than nine days, with stranded drivers taking to playing chess on their cars as local vendors organize roadside shops like in a Cortázar short story. What's causing this potentially month-long jam? In short, increased traffic on the highway mixed with maintenance and construction. Britain's Sky News reported the snarls have been commonplace since May as a result of a spike in the number of trucks using the roads, with the daily peak reaching about 17,000. In this specific case, cars and trucks have been piling up since August 14, 2010 on the National Expressway 100, which is also known as the G110, the major route from Beijing to Zhangjiakou.

World's Most Crowded Prison (Kresty Prison, St. Petersburg, Russia)

Russia's prisons have a reputation for being the most overcrowded on Earth, especially Kresty Prison in St. Petersburg. The official capacity is set at 3,000, but the actual population is always at least 10,000. Each prisoner is also said to only be allowed 4 square meters of space each and 15 minutes a week (a week!) to shower. In summer 2006 Vladimir Putin announced that the prison would be relocated to a new facility in the Kolpinsky District on the outskirts of Saint Petersburg. After the relocation is complete the Kresty building will be sold at auction. It is anticipated that the prison building will be transferred into a hotel-entertainment complex.

With 2.5 million people a day, there's no doubt Tokyo's Shibuya is the busiest intersection in the world. No matter what time you go, the crossing is always busy. During the day, in the middle of night, at dusk – the amount of people is always consistent. According to Guinness World Records, the Mongkok area has the highest population density of anywhere on Earth, with an estimated 130,000 people per square kilometer. Mongkok is a commercial/residential area located in central Kowloon. The Chinese characters for Mongkok (“旺角”) mean “busy corner” and this too is no exaggeration.

A lot of people assume that Japan has the world's most crowded trains. Apparently that's not the case. On an episode of a Japanese TV show, “Itte Q,” a reporter was sent to India so she could experience what may be the “world's most crowded train”. They wanted to see if she could read a newspaper on the train, but it proved to be extremely difficult.

World's Most Crowded Football Stadium (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

Open-air stadium Maracanã, officially known as the Estádio Jornalista Mário Filho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, opened in 1950 to host the FIFA World Cup. During the last game of this cup, in a match that would be later known as the Maracanazo, a world record of attendance was set in a football game: the official number of viewers was 199,854, with the actual attendance estimated to be about 210,000.
