10 Memorable Google Doodles

Over the years, doodles on the Google homepage have made searching on Google more fun and enjoyable for its users worldwide. When doodles were first created, nobody had anticipated how popular and integral they would become to the Google search experience. Nowadays, many users excitedly anticipate the release of each new doodle and some even collect them! 


Pacman. On Friday, 21 May 2010, the 30th anniversary of the arcade game Pac-Man, Google unveiled worldwide their first interactive logo, created in association with Namco.Anyone who visited Google could play Pac-Man on the logo, which featured the letters of the word ‘Google’ on the Pac-Man maze.Google released a permanent Google Pac-Man site, due to the popular user demand for the playable logo.





Loy Krathong. Loy Krathong.(Thailand). Loy Krathong is a Thai holiday where small rafts are floated on bodies of water to honor and pay respect to the goddess of water, and also to apologize for bad things done to the river during the past year.





 Comic-Con 2009. Doodle celebrating the annual Comic-Con conference.





 Edvard Munch Birthday Doodle. Celebrating the birthday of the famous Norwegian expressionist painter and printmaker.





 Google’s John Lennon Doodle. Google’s doodle that celebrates the 70th anniversary of John Lennon’s birthday doesn’t seem special until you click on it.

Google celebrating Pi Day, which is a holiday observed in in various countries to commemorate the mathematical constant π [pi]. Google is marking the occasion with a new doodle that features a pi-related sketch with a Google Logo watermark in the background.
